a little weary
Well another day has come and gone. Babies are all ok. They have moved around a little. Carson and Griffin are in another nursery now. They are in the "growers and feeders" room. Preston is still in the NICU just because his temp gets a little too low when he's removed from the warmer. He'll probably come out of there to be with his brothers tomorrow. Claire has moved from the warming bed to her isolet. She has a light on her all the time so she has to wear sunglasses. She is so cute with them on. Jenn is exhausted. She needs a lot of rest right now. I think she is like the "Energizer Bunny". I think a restful night and slow day tomorrow will do her good. r

I am so happy for you all. The babies are so beautiful and I am so thankful to hear they are doing so well. Such blessings! Tell Jenn to get some rest and I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Merry Christmas! oxox Kenna :)
Oh Jennifer, I know you can hardly stand to be away from those beautiful babies but take care of yourself and get some rest. Your body needs to heal so you will be ready for some fun days ahead!! I am so thankful that Preston,Carson, Griffen and Claire are all making progress and doing so well. God is gracious. Continuing to pray for you all. Doug and Debbie Miller
hey jennifer. this is shanicey. i just wanted to tell you that you are so blessed. i know you must feel overwhelmed but just remember that God doesn't give us more than we can handle. when i think back to when my twins were born, i don't know how i kept from losing my mind. you go into robot mode. when people ask if i ever feel like throwing in the towel, i say that i feel too blessed to every let it get that bad. i mean, how many people get to have identical twins??? how many people get to have HEALTHY quads? not many. but God chose you!!! when you feel quadruple stress, just remember that you are going to get quadruple the hugs, kisses and love. not many mommies get to experience that. don't forget too that i am the best baby holder, hands down. i can hold two babies and do just about anything else at the same time. CALL ME AS SOON AS YOU GET SETTLED. I'VE GOT SOME LOVIN' TO DISH OUT TO THOSE TINY LITTLE BABY CHEEKS. SHANICEY;)

I have been following your progress on the blog. Thanks for calling and letting me know, also.
Jennifer--I know you are trying to provide your milk, but remember to rest, as it will take time. Let others do for you as much as possible. Pumping is important, but rest is also important to building a good supply. Even closing your eyes while pumping---grab all the 'shuteye' you can!
What a miracle. I continue to pray for your family to remain strong,too, as they will be your helpers.
I pass on a special passage that a friend reminded me of as our family was expanding rapidly: "Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from Him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them." Psalm 127:3-5. BUT do not forget to read the first of this Psalm, as it is a reflection of your obedience to Him in continuing to carry these babies...The first part of this Psalm is important, too. "Unless the Lord buids the house, its builders labor in vain." (vs. 1) Obviously, the Lord directed to building of this family, and you followed His lead! You are a testimony to His great power!
