Hello everyone! Hope you had a great week! Ours started off a little rough. All the babies refused to sleep Tuesday and Wednesday night. Everybody cried ALL day Wednesday. Mom helped out throughout the entire day and then she abandoned ship around supper time and was replaced by Bridget. Shae and Lyndee helped out and brought supper and did some much needed loving on the babies. Shae thanks for all those diaper changes! Then they left and Bridget took back over. Babies continued to cry. Bridget held two and kept a pacifier in the other and I had one attached to my hip. Thankfully, Crystal had picked up Parker earlier in the evening to go play with Kambri. :) :) Well, we rocked on...until 8:00pm and it was time for Bridget to go home. I told her I would be fine...I can handle this, but I was hoping and praying she could read my mind. SURE ENOUGH she did...called Tom and stayed with me. THANK YOU BRIDGE...I LOVE YOU! The babies were quiet just long enough to get their bottles down and burp and then it was back to the screaming. BUT...Crystal showed up with Parker and noticed the stress and grabbed a baby and joined in the craziness. They all finally settled down around 10:00pm and rested fairly well until 2am. See, I told all you guys it takes a village to raise these little rug rats and I'm right. I really don't know what I would do without all you guys helping me out so much. WE are VERY Blessed! The rest of the week was kinda touch and go. Betty had to help out along with mom and Carrie. Friday night Rick and I got out and Retta and Betty took over for the evening. Thank you. Saturday was so much better. Betty came and loved on her little grand babies and my good ol' friend Kaileen showed up last night and hung out with me until late. Today, has been pretty quiet. Amy, my sister in law came to help with the babies and also to try to find the babies room again. (What a wreck) Between blankets, clothes for four, and diapers, wipes, cribs and..well I could go on forever..its hard to keep that room in check. We're trying to get it organized again because I think its about time to move the kids out of the living room and into their room. Also, the boys are getting pretty big and I think I'm going to split them up...two and two. We'll see how that goes. Well, have a good week and I'll keep in touch. You guys do the same. Love you, Jenn

Hang in there...pretty soon they will be sleeping through the night...hopefully. I cannot believe how much Claire and Preston look like Rick...Wow. They are wonderful. Hats off to big man Parker...always willing to take one for the team ( and go play with others...ha.) Exactly what we would have done! Love S&B

Hi Jenn and Rick,
I just came across your blog via the murraycrew blog. I just delivered quads about a month before you (nov 19th) and had 3 boys and 1 girl as well. I have been amazed at how similar our babies are! We, however, don't have any other younguns at home. I can't even imagine how much more difficult it would be with a 3 yr old, too! Parker is adorable and looks like he's adjusting well and turning out to be quite the little helper. Our babies' names are (from oldest to youngest): Pius James, Forrest Michael, Danna Lynn and Laine Ryan. I think that Pius and Griffin think alike, Forrest and Carson are in sync and Preston sounds alot like Laine. Of course, Danna is our little peanut. She was 1#10oz at birth and is now up to about 6 1/2 lbs. I'm sure your Claire will rule the roost just like Danna thinks she will!
Anyway, just wanted to say hi and that it's good to know how many other people are in the same boat. If you're interested, we also have been chronicling (is that a word?) our quad journey by blog. It's www.billyandmonica.blogspot.com. Take care!

p.s. Those were some impressive baby weights! How many weeks were you when they were born?
